Had a take away from Dil Raj twice while staying in Knaresborough on holiday. First night food was beautiful! The 2nd time the food was equally as good the portion size of the chips was extremely small wouldn't have been enough for a child, only 1 salad for 2 tandoori dishes. Phone call to Dil Raj and the problem soon rectified.

Not great food .. we usually use another local Indian but they are closed for a refurb .. the quality of the tandoori mixed grill was poor and the chicken saag was edible but not great. Will revert back to the usual takeaway when it’s back open.

We have ordered from here before with no issues, however this meal was not good, ordered at 5pm food arrive at 6.45pm unfortunately cold, when speaking with the restaurant they just kept saying they'd never had any complaints and could I just heat it up, not the point of ordering a meal from elsewhere and where insistent we had ordered through another site, and just kept saying thank you bye, after phone call number 3 it was possibly discovered our order had gone elsewhere hence the poor temperature, I have been offered a refund eventually although they wanted to come and collect the food which was fine by us, after phone call number four from the restaurant we could keep the food which was now heading for the bin and have been issued with a phone number to request my refund, not the best service as why should I waste more of my time trying to get my money back, eventually we ate from a different restaurant.

Quality of the food was top class, However the experience was a little spoilt as one main items of a fairly large order was missed out. They corrected matters but it took over 30 minutes to replace thus 4 not 5 stars. The order was placed on-line which was easy to complete with a designated collection service and the food was prepared an ready for the agreed time.
